Things to do

List of things i want to do within the next 5-6 months.

1. Hopefully shorten the time to 4 months
2. Get an Apartment =)
3. Befriend a korean. (preferebly a cute one =) lol) This one is going to be harder than i thought
4. Buy a new pair of shoes
5. Finish watching Road number one   Done, it was so cool!! i had to take breaks from watching it because it was way too awesome!! Now ive moved on to my lovely kim sam soon. so far its really cute.
6. Wash my car ( i really need to do this more often)  Done, washed it, and it only lasted clean a whole 2 hours before some birds used it for their toilet. damn birds!
7. Work on my korean (id like to be able to carry out a conversation for #3)
8. Get back to my routine of going to the gym, or park at least 5 days per week. (Im still in vacation mode, and that was over a year ago! I have the willpower, i just need to find out where i put it!)  So far so good. 8 days in a row! Great job Annie!
9.  Lose 25Lbs (6 down, 19 more to go)
10. Clean out my desk at work. (I have way to much stuff, it looks like a kid lives there)
11. Go to forever 21, and not spend my entire paycheck! (this ones a tough one)

Ill probably add more stuff to the list. hopefully i can complete at least one item before i add another. Good luck to me!! Fighting!!

Damn you Autocorrect, Damn you Thriftstore.

So, i just spent close to two hours in tears laughing at failed text messages!!! It was the funniest two hours, i was logging on here in an attempt to post my favorite ones, but then id probably spend another two hours looking through them, so ill just recommend to everyone to go and read some of them, they are hilarious!

And out of the topic of autocorrect, i went to a thrift store today in an attempt to find an oversized collared long sleeve shirt in order to chop it up and try and turn it into something cute as pinterest instructed me to do. However, their damn clothes were more expensive than i would find at a clearance rack at khols or at ross. COME ON! Seriously goodwill, just because it comes from dressbarn, does not mean you have to treat it like its some kind of vintage treasure. I mean this shirts material was nice, and it would have worked out ok for what i wanted to do, but im not about to spend $17.99 on a used stinky shirt that i will have to wash twice that im going to try my non-existing sewing skills on. I mean, even at $7.99 id still think about it, but i may have given in and bought the stupid shirt.

I think that after im done with this sewing thing i want to try, im going to look for something thats not girly. I dont know what it is, but ill find something cool to do next. I can never start something and kep up with it, i usually quit once ive tried it. Im realizing that I think it has to do with wanting to see if i can do something or not, then if i can, ill keep up with it for a couple of months, if i cant ill quit right away then move on to something else. I guess this gives me mediocre skills in many many things rather that an excellent skill in one thing. I dont know which is best, but i think i like mediocre.

Pin not so curls!

So yesterday i was inspired to try out pin curls. So, i pined up all my hair, tied it in a scarf, and didnt sleep a wink because i was afraid of messing up my hair. So then i woke up, soo exiced to see the results!! So, i got ready and took out all the pins........and, it was soo hideous. it looked like i had teased all my hair, then slept on it, then woke up and teased it some more. What went wrong?!?! i dont know, but it was very dissapointing. im just going to go get those curlers that heat up. For some reason, the curling irons dont work on my hair either.  so sad, so dissapointing.

So anyway, besides not having any pin curls to show off today with my grease lightning look that i went for today,(which i totally regretted as soon as i got to work) i was soo sleepy all day today and to top it off, i forgot the skirt i was wearing doesnt like the wind, so i had a heck of a time trying to get into the building today without my skirt flying up over my face. Theres so much more thats been going wrong all week. like just last week as i was about to iron my blouse, my dog decides he wants to taste my shirt. so its got gross dog breath and slobber all over it, so i have to wash it and blow dry it in a hurry. Bad days! But im sure it was very funny and entertaining to others, if i keep this up, i may get my own sitcom!

Minty Mustard

So, i can sew a bit, and i think that im soo awesome so im going to try and sew something like a blouse and a skirt or a dress. Im not really sure when these patterns im going to use were made, but they look terribly old, and thats a good thing. im tired of all this skanky new stuff they keep making. and once im done, im going to slap on a peter pan collar. Im hoping to find materials in a mustard and mint. i keep seeing those colours pop up on pinterest, and since im so easily influenced, thats what im going to look for! I mean, see how well these colours look together.... so awesome!
